Making the Move

E-Z Movers

Today moving to another state or city is nothing new. People move all the time for various reasons. When moving though, do not forget to organize all the aspects this event could bring. Sometimes, just thinking about the move, your head start spinning and you do not know from where to start. Don’t worry it happens to all of us! We, at E-Z Movers, are dedicated to helping our customers with everything.

There are many things you can do to ease your relocation. Start by looking at what you haven’t used for a long time and give it a thought if you will ever actually use it again. Donate stuff, sell others online or at a yard sale, or give them to relatives that are more likely to use them. Things like old bicycle, old furniture that has been sitting in the garage for years. Now is the time, summer is here and you can open the doors of your garage to your neighbors, family and friends. Do not underestimate what you have. It could be a lot, but it also could not be for you anymore. So, why pay to move things you won’t use?

If you go ahead and do this, you will see and feel the money difference after an estimator comes to your home. And yes we offer free in-home estimates for our local moves! Call us and request one of our professional estimators to visit your home and give you a valuation. Don’t be panicking though! If you don’t want to get rid of things just make sure they are really worth it the time and money to transport them. After this initial step has been done, move on to creating a list with items that need to be wrapped. Make separate columns for each wrapping category – some items do not need that much of a packing, while others do. Separate those and this will help you navigate through your move. Also, you can include the location of each item in your home.

These are just the first two steps you can make to help yourself. Read also moving checklist from E-Z Movers. After that you can leave everything in the hands of the professional moving company, which will save you a huge headache. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to post them or call us at 1888.917.8300 or visit our web site . Have a safe move!
