National Moving Company Launches Pioneer Online Reservation Tool

E-Z Movers is excited to announce the launch of a first-ever online tool allowing customers interested in residential and commercial moving services to research, plan and make reservation of local moves completely online.

Spurred by the move of the consumer market to complete all purchases online, the E-Z Movers, Inc. is the first moving company to offer consumers the option of purchasing packing and moving services online.

Called the Online Reservation Tool, the web application prompts prospective customers to complete a simple, detailed form indicating the specifics of the move including household inventory, distance, and other important details. Based on the customer-provided information, an estimate is calculated and the consumer can then make reservation of the moving services online with a deposit made by credit card.

The company announces this new feature launch in the midst of National Moving Month, which is recognized as the kick-off to the busy moving season. According the American Movers and Storage Association, 45% of all annual residential moves occur between the months of May and September.
